Debriefing: November 2010 – Guerrilla Influence Edition

Greetings from deep within the Riskology Lab where I’ve been holed up working away on all the cool stuff that’s planned for December – namely, my flagship premium resource, Guerrilla Influence Formula, designed to help bloggers and small biz owners (and especially blogging small biz owners) find more followers for their important cause.  I’ll be unleashing it onto the world on Tuesday, December 14th, so stay tuned for more details on that in the coming days.

Also, if you’re in the Portland area, I’m excited to announce the first ever “Riskologist meet-up,” happening on Thursday, December 9th at 7:00 P.M. at the Lucky Labrador Brewery – address 915 SE Hawthorne Blvd.

I’ll be co-hosting the event with the ever entertaining Sean Ogle of Location 180 and Tammy Strobel of Rowdy Kittens. If you’re around and would like to come plot your misadventures with us, we’d love to have you. Just let me know you’re coming.

This is the monthly debriefing. Every new month we’ll look back at what’s happened around Riskology.co. If you’ve missed anything, this is a great place to catch up.

From the Blog

In November, I talked a lot about risk free business launches, the simplest commitment in the world, and how nice guys actually finish first.

Then, I got this hair-brained idea to detail 16 reasons to unsubscribe from this site. When I got my wits back, I went over 30 surprisingly difficult ways to be extraordinary, revealed what it takes to be influential, and exposed my top secret support team for everyone to see.

Finally, I relaxed a bit and settled into my life-long vacation.

Incoming!

This month is going to be headlined by the launch of Guerrilla Influence Formula and the Portland reader meet-up, but, here’s a taste of what else you can expect to see:

  • What happens when you reveal the “real you” (and how to avoid the pointing and laughing)
  • A guide for being reasonably unreasonable
  • How to change the world with just one idea (hint: it doesn’t even have to be that good)

How You Can Get Involved

I feel so stinkin’ lucky just to be able to write at Riskology.co for you, and even more lucky that a lot of you have written in wondering how you can help spread the word. So thanks!

Here are the best ways to make AR an even better place for even more people:

  • Leave a comment on an article that you have an opinion about. I try to ask a question for you to answer at the end of each piece because I firmly believe that you can learn more from a blog’s readers than you can from the writer.
  • Sign up for email updates to get my 5 Risks That Made History email series or subscribe via RSS so that you don’t miss an article that could help you or someone you know.
  • Share an article with your friends on Twitter, Facebook or any other site you hang out at. If you use a bookmarking site like StumbleUpon or Digg, submit any article you like there.

Or, of course, you could do whatever else you want to spread the message. There are no rules because that’s kind of the whole point around here.

Over and out,

~~~~~
