Happy Thanksgiving from Riskology.co

Greetings, everyone, from deep inside the Riskology Lab here in Portland, Oregon where I’m experimenting with a new combination of sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. For those of you in the U.S., here’s wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving.

If you’re from elsewhere and wondering what I’m taking about, Thanksgiving is a holiday where families get together to remember all they have to be grateful for and then commemorate the experience by eating far too much turkey and falling asleep on the couch watching football.

Wherever you are, remembering to be grateful for what you have, and also what you have to give, is a healthy practice at any time of the year.  Take stock of all you have and think of how you’d feel were it no longer there.

Thanks for being here, and I’ll see you on Monday once I’ve recovered from my food coma.

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. — Thornton Wilder
