30-Day Habit Challenge: Join Us In Gratitude And Skill Building (Starts December 1)

In a few days, Riskologists across The U.S. will sit down for a Thanksgiving Dinner with their families and—for just one day—think very carefully about everything they’re thankful for.

But anyone who’s been happy for more than a day at a time knows gratitude is one of the fastest ways to achieve happiness and, more importantly, sustain it. When you remind yourself of all the things that make your life great on a daily basis, you go through life healthier, happier, and more successful however you define it.

That’s not just my opinion. There are dozens and dozens of studies now over many decades that prove it. And that’s why I’m excited to invite you to join me and the rest of the Riskologist Community for a 30-day habit challenge to test your gratitude muscle, starting on December 1.

Last month, I invited you all to be a part of our very first habit challenges—to drink no alcohol and build a new connection every day. A small group of you answered the call. We still have a six days left before claiming victory, but the results have been great so far. One of our members even got a new job from the challenge.

If you want in on the next round of life-changing habit challenges, here’s your chance.

30-Day Habit Challenge: Gratitude Every Day

Starting on December 1, all of us in The Riskology Lab will be joining together to support each other on a mission to document 30 days of gratitude. The object? To get better at recognizing everything we have to be thankful for on a regular and ongoing basis.

We’ll start with just 30 days but, if you like it, you’re welcome to continue… indefinitely! This is an incredibly simple habit challenge that can have a profound impact on your life, so I hope you’ll join us for it.

To take part, leave a note on this topic in the lab letting us know you’re joining in.

30-Day Habit Challenge: Develop A New Business Skill

Q: How easy is it to stagnate at work and find yourself doing the same thing—day in and day out—without really growing and improving yourself?

A: Very easy!

Starting December 1, we’ll also be running another habit challenge—a kind of sprint to pick up a new skill or improve a rusty one that will make you better at what you do to earn a living.

This one may be a bit tougher than the gratitude challenge—and it will take a daily effort to make progress—but if you’re up for it, leave a note on this topic letting us know what skill you’re planning to build.

I’m choosing to beef up my video production skills. What will you work on?

Create Your Own Habit Challenge

As always, if there’s a different habit you’d like to challenge yourself to build and you don’t see it in The Lab, just add it and invite others to participate with you. You never know who might want to join in.

See you in The Lab!
